Description

Fit test adapter allowing quantitative fit test to be performed on all PW bayonet cartridge half masks and full face masks. The fit test adapter should be positioned between the respirator facepiece and the P3 filter. It is provided with a small sample tube , which passes through the inhalation valve of the respirator, taking the sample from the breathing zone. To be only used with P3 filters. Standard quantitative procedures can be followed, i.e. using particle counting device (Portacount ): a particle counting device counting the number of ambient particles leaking into the facepiece and comparing this with the particle number challenging the facepiece while the wearer carries out a number of specified exercises.
