small things make
a big difference
Thank you to everyone who contributes their time, energy and efforts supporting the charities and good causes that we all care about. By helping as much as we can through a range of volunteering and fundraising activities, we hope to have a positive impact on our local community and make a difference in our own way.
People First, Heatons Close Behind
Heatons Group was proud to sponsor the Self Advocacy Award at the People First Awards, recognising individuals who are developing confidence in expressing their own voice and leading by example. Our colleague Ian Arnold has been involved with People First for a while and attended the event to personally present the award to the deserving winner.

there's no business like (mo)business
Dan Morning, Luke Weller, and Fred Fielding all donned questionable facial hair for a month in aid of Movember. Thanks to their efforts, Dan, Luke, and Fred proudly reached their £500 goal and raised awareness and money to support men’s health and tackle important issues like mental health, prostate cancer, and testicular cancer.
supporting football from the grass roots
Paul Williams, our Purchasing Manager, has been volunteering at AC Hoylake JFC for over 20 years. He first became involved when his youngest son became a member and has since assumed the role of chairman, overseeing the full running of the club.
Athletic Club Hoylake (AC Hoylake) was established in 2001 to address the need for a local junior football club in Hoylake and West Kirby. With new teams introduced every season, it now has over 500 players in 41 teams, including a thriving girls’ section.
The club ethos is to ensure that ALL children have the opportunity to take part in and enjoy football from a young age. The coaches aim to help develop their technique and skills through a mix of training, mini-soccer and junior football matches in a safe, fun environment and the measure of their success is based on the numbers who return to play each week.
