A reliable Dulux exterior satinwood metal and wood paint that is a great choice to give your home a refresh. Designed to provide a long-lasting satinwood finish, this metal and wood paint achieves a beautiful look, without compromising on quality. This 2.5L size will cover up to 18 m² on average, so you can buy exactly what you need to complete your decorating job. For top results, apply with a brush. It will dry quickly between coats meaning you can recoat it in 6 hours. This paint offers top quality protection, designed to be resistant to cracking, making it an ideal choice to use on surfaces outdoors. As well as looking brilliant, this water-based paint is safe for use in your home. It contains minimal VOCs, making it a safe choice for you and your environment.
- Surface Preparation - Ensure surfaces to be painted are clean and dry with no dirt, grease or flaking paint. Sand down the surface to remove any sheen. Areas affected by mould, algae, fungi or lichen should be treated with an appropriate fungicidal wash. Prepare bare wood with Weathershield Exterior Preservative Primer+ (BP), wiping off any excess and Dulux Exterior Undercoat prior to use. Prepare bare metal surfaces with Dulux Primer & Undercoat for Multi Surfaces. Surface defects should be repaired using the appropriate Polycell product.
- Instructions for Use - Stir thoroughly before use to ensure the paint is completely mixed. Apply 1 or 2 coats with a brush. Tip: It is advisable to only use light colours on south facing resinous wood. Apply only in dry conditions, above 10°C and when bad weather is not forecast.
