Hultafors Hults Bruk Åby Forest Axe
Description
Hand forged from Swedish quality steel, the head is struck 40-60 times to increase density and durability. It has a straighter edge and grinding, slight convex grind and a good finger notch below the head for increased precision. The axe is supplied sharpened, polished and ready to use, in a leather axe sheath.
The Åby is named after the nearest village from Hults Bruk, where many of the workers at the forge lived in the mid 20th century.
